Friday, December 4th, 2009

I’ve been thinking of making an anaglyph website for a while, using a class based structure to add the correct shadows etc to the web page.

Vimeo for Wordpress v1.1.4

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

Only a quick update that adds the group URL fix (see last post) and adds a nifty little box on the admin page to help with the hex values, expect a follow up release which will add a popup from which you can choose colours from (this is currently being delayed by CSS issues)

When you type in your hex code into the text box in the admin page and click off the text box it will update the colour next to the text box. As I said just now, this is a temporary measure until I can sort out the CSS

Testing the new Vimeo for Wordpress Manual Entry box

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009

I realised that the manual entry box for my Vimeo for Wordpress plugin is lacking a feature. When you view Videos as part of a group you will view a different URL (so that you can see group only comments) this URL wont work well with the current manual entry box as the code at the moment just strips the http://www.vimeo.com/ part of the string. I’m hoping to just take out the numbers from the string (here’s hoping that Vimeo doesn’t allow numbers in group names).

This is a test of the Group URL, working perfectly using inputstring.match(/\d+$/)[0]; which outputs the numbers

This is a test of a Group URL with a number in the Group name using the same function as above, working perfectly

Now just a normal video test, working perfectly

This is what happens if you don’t check your blog for a month

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

My blog isn’t exactly the busiest of blogs, I get about 1000 uniques a month but today I decided to log back in after a month long break and found this waiting for me

SPAM Glorious SPAM

SPAM Glorious SPAM

That’s a lot of spam, mainly all pills and porn but still, damn. 1 thing I have seen though is an increase on spambots signing up for user accounts, they haven’t posted anything just yet but if they do then I’m going to be deleting a lot of crap from my comments list.

Blogging from my iphone

Friday, July 3rd, 2009

Finally after god knows how long Ive managed to get my wordpress app on my iPhone working. Turns out it was just something that needed to be declared in my htaccess. This is great though because now I can keep this site updated where ever I am.

At this exact moment Leanna is moving statues around in resident evil 2. While Im in bed with my legs in a weird position so she can see the tv :p

** back on desktop **
It appears that the photo upload function isn’t working, I just had to add brackets and speech marks to the photo to get it to work.
